Wakey wakey poeople, you are being conned big time!!As if the oceans are acidic now, all because of Man, a tiny tiny subspecies, so small in number that there are more dogs and twice as many cats, so few that all in the world could fit into Lake Taupo, occupying less land than 1.5% of the planet! That means 98.5% is uninhabited yet the globe is in danger of burning up? You're pulling my leg!! Since when did 1.5% rule over 98.5%? This animation is a spoof, surely - what is being claimed - jeez -even a three year old wouldn't be fooled. Go back to school. CO2 is life itself, we are all made of carbon. We would die without CO2. But the global warmies would have us believe CO2 is a polluttant. Next time you see a healthy big kauri, hug it and tell it that it has been eating poison for the past 200 years. Duh.

You are so uninformed, it makes my stomach turn. CO2 is not a pollutant, and no one ever said it was. It just contributes, along with other greenhouses gases, to the warming effect of the sun. And that's a fact, so we need to all at least be open to the possibility that humans, along with other natural factors outside of our control, could contribute to a series of events that makes life very difficult for all of us at some point in the future. And who cares if its 30 years, 80 years, or 150 years down the line. I mean, forget the fact that you think the video is BS. How can you argue with the message of responsible consumption and conservation? There has been an irrefutable trend towards excess, over consumption, and waste. Can't we at least cut back on that? There is so much at stake, and I think you are the one that needs to spend some time reading up on the real science regarding modern climate change. The argument really has nothing to do with whether humans are the cause of global warming, and to see it as such is very myopic and juvenile. The real question is 'What can humanity do to ensure that we are living in a truly sustainable fashion?' Can you make an argument that we are? I'd love to hear it.

You idiots are the ones that need to wake up!
You doubters should go buy up all the low-lying land and sign official statements that you will not beg for a bail-out when it's underwater. Come on, put your money where your ill-conceived mouths are!

I'm sure you think you know more than the US government, but here's what their top expert just said:
On Monday, President Obama's chief climate negotiator Todd Stern declared the US's re-engagement with climate diplomacy: "We do not doubt the science, we do not doubt the urgency, and we do not doubt the enormity of the challenge before us. The facts on the ground are outstripping the worst case scenarios. The costs of inaction – or inadequate actions – are unacceptable."
Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Duh indeed.

And, by the way, last I checked, the richest 1.5% had a hell of a lot more power than the other 98.5%, so to answer your question - since money began to equal power!

  • this is really good you should try and sell it to the channels it could go far as its so clear and anyone will get it. Channel 4 would like or BBC 2-3-4 would be game. sell it, people need to see it.
