1. UCLA Lymphoma Program
I finished chemotherapy at the UCLA Lymphoma Program in May, 2011. I have a ct scan next week. For anyone who has gone through this or known people who have, its important to know about this center. I came from Colorado to be treated here as they offered me a protocol with a higher success rate than I could have gotten elsewhere. I am a documentary filmmaker and when my oncologist Dr. Lauren Pinter-Brown told me they needed a video I was happy to be able create this. It is my first video post-chemo. I am grateful to be alive and well. There is so much to understand, and at first diagnosis navigating the medical maze seemed impossible. But the choices we make as patients and consumers do matter. May the Lymphoma Program On Track for A Cure event grow more successful every year. A cure is possible and coming as we support their research.
