Trigg Point Boardriders confirmed their status as one of Western Australia's premier boardriding clubs and with a thrilling win in the 2011 Surf Boardroom Surf League at Scarborough Beach. It was the sixth consecutive year Trigg Point have claimed the title, finishing ahead of arch rivals Margaret River Boardriders whilst cementing their name in Surf League history.

The Surf League forms an integral part of the surfing scene in WA and to see the great support of the local and regional teams in 2011 is what sets this event apart from all others. Boardriding club passion runs stronger every year and this event epitomises the grass roots strength of the local and regional clubs from around the state. In a day that had a taste of all four seasons, the cloud eventually burnt off and light winds prevailed with a strong on beach crowd greeting teams and competitors who were all keen to see their club claim the coveted Surf League title.

2011 saw an insurgence of new talent with some clubs making their first Surf League appearance and for others making a a long awaited return. Clubs from metro and regional WA that competed included, Contacio, City Beach, Cottesloe, Geraldton, Mandurah, Margaret River, Scarborough, Surf Beach, Trigg Point and Yallingup. With each club fielding a team of their best six surfers, consisting of one senior (over 28), four opens and one junior surfer (under 18).

7th Place - City Beach Boardriders, Yallingup Boardriders, Mandurah Boardriders
10th Place – Scarborough Boardriders
