Just got the new iMovie 09, which is coming with a bunch of new features. A lot of things, missing in the old iMovie 08.

Here a test of the new stabilizing function, which is alone worthy to use iMovie 09 for people, who have used iMovie 08 before or other MAC user, who don't like to use Final Cut for some reasons.

I never edited the original footage, taken at the "Oktoberfest" in Hibiya Park in Tokyo last year, because it was simply too shaky without using a tripod at that time and HD is so sensitive, that you get dizzy, watching it.

The stabilizing is not adjusted in this example, but it can be done. Great feature, especially because the pictures stabilizer of my JVC camera ( HD 3 ) is just crap, even the camera is awesome besides that.
