Thanks. The sensor of the MarkII is so large that I think it gives you too shallow of DOF at times. I have a manual lens on there and I think the aperture was all the way down to around f6 or so.

I created one of my own settings with the sharpness, saturation, and contrast all the way down. Then I am also using the newest version of Quick Time so that helps give you detail in the shadows and highlights instead of crushing them.

The music is "Nickel Creek". This file was about 1gb on the card. I am hoping to get a 16gb soon which should give me about 40 min of recording time instead of 20 min.

Well if a 8gb is giving 20 minutes of music this is a damn good file size. (If i compare with raw dv size)
