Ever thought, “where did my spiritual life go??” or “my heart for God just feels dry and empty”. If we’re real honest this happens to many if not all believers at some point. It’s like, for whatever reason, we just drift off the path and lose our passion to actively live out our faith. The Bible bluntly calls this type of faith “dead”! Obviously that’s not good. A dead faith is like a dead plant in an office , hard to look at, just kind of “there” and needs to go!

On the other hand, a faith that is alive is amazing to have around, produces good things and makes life worth living. That’s what Jesus has come to give us – a soul that is truly alive. What everyone craves is a fulfilled life that has meaning and purpose. We get that when our spirit is alive and we are connected to God in a kinetic type of relationship.

This message series is called “ALIVE” because we will be looking at exactly what it means to live this kind of life. Colossians will be the book of choice. See you there!
