This short film, part of the Cine Archeology series, came to fruition following the Madrid terrorist attacks in 2004. On the eve of the second year of US forces fighting in Iraq, unclear messages where being sent in terms of democracy and its responses to terrorism. Having saw firsthand, the response to the crime of 911 with US democratically supported wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the response in the Spanish democracy was at the other end of the spectrum: one that did not condone a violent reaction to a violent act but instead a response that would make the Spanish democracy more secure.
