Throw To Grow (TTG) campaign is a project that presents an innovative way to manage and recycle food waste on a large scale. This solution involves anaerobically fermenting all solid food waste, including meat and dairy products, as a means to convert the waste material into a powerful soil product. Food fermentation is a superior alternative to sending our food waste to the landfill and fills the gaps of other organic recycling systems. It is significantly faster, more effective, and much more earth‐friendly option for recycling food waste. Throw To Grow seeks to implement food fermentation on a large scale, with the objective of diverting and recycling at least 50% of municipal food waste and thus reducing landfill sizes on long term.
