The goal was to rebrand History International as H2 to position the channel
as the home for the best in “infotainment” programming. Additionally, the
new brand needed to reflect the interactive experience and court viewers
hungry to explore their world by delving deeper to find surprising
connections between seemingly unrelated topics.

For the logo we paired the classic History “H” with clean, modern
typography, thereby balancing the old and new. Then, by tilting the logo
components off angle and weaving them together in a way that defies physics,
we arrived at a solution that directly implies depth while subtly hinting
that there’s something unexpected here. Overall, the package feels
interactive, “clickable” and easily transports the viewer from one
experience to another.
