Seeing Green is a transatlantic conversation between two diverse, multifaceted artists. Formed over a mututal appreciation of weird old textbooks, reappropriation and good old fashioned cutting and pasting, the collages and works within this book burst with vibrancy, colour and curiosity. The images compare and contrast worlds of nature, symbolism, the magical and the mundane, while keeping it playful and respectful to Joachim Schimd’s long-standing statement of intent: ‘No new photographs until all the old ones have been used up’.
