Fantastic! It is also important to get those pipes out to everyone, from the hubs to the furthest person so everyone can be part of the digital kingdom and global empire.

Would love to get this subtitled! I'd have to update my script a bit, and not sure how quickly I can get that done, but I'll get in touch.

Nice work! I had some trouble focusing on the video because the intonation, perhaps you could have that into consideration for your next video!

    Regards!

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching! Voice over is definitely not my favorite thing to do, and sound design more generally is something I want to develop more.

This was an excellent documentary. It's truly eye-opening as well. It's amazing how these powerful hubs of information lay discreetly around us, and make our modern world possible. The connection with the telegraph was also interesting. I highly recommend a book called "The Victorian Internet" by Tom Standage as a fascinating history at how these global interconnected networks (and empires) first emerged in the 19th century.

Thanks, Stephen--so glad you liked it! I'm familiar with that book. It's fascinating how closely the global Internet map resembles global telegraphy.

Absolutely loved this. As someone who has worked in the networking business for 15 years and who makes films, this was like the perfect storm.

It's like a film version of one of my favorite pieces of tech writing ever: Mother earth Motherboard by Neal Stephenson.

Impressive. Working on pre-production on a documentary about Linux, "Linux Comes Of Age." Good you gave a shout-out to One Wilshire, which is co-lo heaven here in LA.
