I think I found The One.

So, I've been looking for an apartment in New York. This is the third one I've seen (I say "second" in the video, but I forgot about the first one I saw) - on 53rd and 9th Ave. It's ridiculously expensive - $2550!!! (I say $1550 in the video, perhaps because I am fantasizing ... it's definitely a grand more than that). For a 12 x 14 studio!!! But it has ... A WASHER AND DRYER, which is, sad to say, a dream of mine. I plan to do laundry ALL THE TIME.

I'm filling out an application this very moment.

I enjoy the apartment hunting process, and getting to see empty apartments. $1550 is pricey, but considering that it's brand new and cute (and has a washer/dryer!), seems decent!

    I pay $320 a month for rent.

    wow. That's ... unimaginable.

I pay 493 (for this place: vimeo.com/214497) per month.

But, in order to get a place for that cheap, I have to live in Alabama. So, it's something of a trade-off.

Sooo... are you planning to move there? Mmm... seems pretty small to me, where your bed is gonna be?. TheKITCHEN is nice though.

    Your call...

PD: you did something to your hair, right? nice!

I hope I get it! It's really small, but that's par for the NY course.

Re: my hair, I had just come from taping CNN, so they blew it out in a really Jennifer Aniston from 1995 on Friends way. eh.

i feel a little better that you fudged on the price. i was about to be really upset that a SUPER cute apt like that was 1550 when i was paying 1250 for a crappy studio in the ues (ghetto bathroom STALL, not even a bathtub...VINYL floors throughout...no closet...etc). i'm kinda sad i didn't take a video while i was still there. good luck!! if you can afford it, it's worth every penny.

No way is that closet going to fit all your shoes not to mention your clothes.

I was kidding but after watching this clip I'm not.
