Generative 3D projection mapped wall mounted landscape sculpture. This is a short clip assembled from an image sequence.
The projected 3D mesh is texture mapped with a perlin noise filter, while the change in lighting is from a virtual sun and moon rotating around the computer model. The structural supports of the sculpture were fabricated from custom-code generated blueprints to create a real-world model that would exactly match the virtual model.
This sculpture can be stored in a small box and transported, then set up again with different hardware. The software is written in Processing so it is also easily portable.
