This video is about the recognition of an outstanding talent.

John Michel Vincent is a modest person who, in my opinion deserves recognition for his skills of moving musical notes around and arranging these to form a pleasing or descriptive sound.

He has been involved with music since he was about nine years of age and produces his scores out of love for the discipline.

It has taken quite a while to get him to go public with his skills, so please do support him, to do that you can e-mail him at john.michel.vincent@googlemail.com stating your requirements. There is absolutely no fee involved as long as the score is not for commerciall use.

The tracks used here have been truncated, therefore do not represent the total value of the individual score, this is purely a taster video.

Good luck with your video's and remember the sound track has as much impact as the visuals in terms of audience satisfaction.

"Proper job" as they would say on the south western extremities of God's Wonderful Railway.

Hey up, it's owd Fourmoors. I thought that you were uploading last week, or was I mistaken.

    Thanks for the comment.

I tried to get a few images of the moon and snow fall, but nothing worth putting together into a video just yet.

This promo video slide show really is good Keen: the photos and music are superb and your creative editing is outstanding - "proper job!"

Thanks 4M2. It gives me something constructive to do on these drab nights of winter. It's the Iceland project soon, then it will be spring when the frogs will be busy etc. Time to get the reels turning once more.

    ye its ok i suppose.

Well... Thanks Gerald, coming from you I suppose that is a compliment.

Didn't click the 'like' tab because your arm was dirty presumably.

Anyhow, keeping your hand in Gerald? Obviously not round this neck of the woods though, the cows look too happy.

Be seeing you soon no doubt.

John, Really excellent shots and great music and I actually recognise some of the locations. What model of still camera did you use?

It is really difficult to find appropriate music for use with video without infringing copyright. Not too many days at this time of the year without wind generated noise and good music in my opinion is essential in combating the noise issue.

John is to be congratulated on his music talent.

    What an accolade John.

John Michel Vincent e-maild to say that he has seen your comment and is most impressed by this fantastic response. He may PM the information about equipment, providing my instructions to him work.

Thank you John for taking time out.

so this is what the auld fella's been up to then? Your mate has some nice photo's Keen, glad you're doing your bit to promote fellow artists - nice one bud ;-)

    Thanks pal.

John is an old friend and a brilliant musician, he deserves my best, I hope that my efforts have gone some way towards that

As to other things that I've been up to, make your hair curl pal.

    Thanks B

...well, I'm sure John appreciates your hard work - as will many others - 'proper job' as 4M2 said :)

Oh, and if 'making my hair curl' has anything to do with Gerald's extra curricular activities - then you can keep them to yourselves ;-)
  • Keen Johns 10 months ago
It's quite possible that Gerald's extra curricular activities are actually part of his curriculum. Now, my hair (what I've got left) is curling lol.

Thanks for the reassuring comment B.

    :)

btw, it may be a good idea if you can figure out a way to link samples of John's other work to this video - after all, I may well be looking for a good composer for a future time lapse reel - if John is willing to contribute ;-)

...just a small thought bud :)

I'm sure that John would be only too happy to oblige you, please do send him a mail, by so doing you will be assisting him to extend his library and aiding his development with the software that he uses. If you would, please send me a 'share' for your next video.

    Regards

    Keen

Hey you pair talking about me behind my back, it does hurt you know.
as for the cows looking happy, the reason being that there is a new technician working that area and he's a she ( yes you did think it was a chap) and she has very thin arms, makes the whole process a lot less painfull.
Still got the builders in i see!, havent you spent enough of your hard earned money on trivialities like the house when you could be spending it on important stuff like camera equipment instaed of trying to beg it off BE WELL, if anyone should get it, well it should be me obviously, i am surprised you did not think of that.
By the way have you ever heard of THE COUNT ARTHUR STRONG RADIO SHOW? i think you would like it, sounds just like your kind of humor. if you get the chance look on the radio 4 website and do a search, what am i saying, why dont i just post a link, never thought of that did you.

    bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00hd80x/Count_Arthur_Strongs_Radio_Show

there you go, have a listen to him, it makes me laugh like a drain everytime its on.
    bye bye for now.

    gerald

PS i think it will only be available for the next 5 days.
    ==================================

John, its now 18th and the link is no longer availabe for playing.

Sorry Gerald but I don't remember being notified of this response, hence this late come-back.

Yes I do know of this Count Arthur character and find him very funny. He reminds me of Harry Worth, though I have to say the Count's act is a lot more agreeable with me, his act is polished and generally much better presented than old Harry's.

Unfortunately our household is ruled by the bloody TV, unless I hide away upstairs I don't get chance to listen to the radio, and when I do get to listen (in the car) it is invariably tuned to radio 4.

Fossils of the world unite eh Gerald. OK, OK, I am uniting with myself here then.

BTW. I must admit that I have never heard our drains laughing. It may be that you have flushed something funny through the system.
