Money has power. It can make you feel powerful or powerless. It will serve you, or you will serve it. Jesus went so far to say, you have to make a choice where your loyalties lie -- with God or with money. Repeatedly, Jesus warned his disciples to "beware" of the affect their money and possessions could have on their lives. This Sunday, we will start the Giving chapter of our series, Rediscovering the Church. Personally, I believe this part of the series will be really significant because becoming a disciple in the area of our money and possessions is rarely talked about.
