the evolution experience II
Some more BtS from the 2nd round of the evolution experience, once again most of the footage was shot by those attending the StillMotion workshop.
Special thanks Re Workshop II:
- Our Models: Stella & Chi, Allie & Thomas, Vicky & Ricky, Stacey Evans and Jen Boromello for being such awesome 'on screen talent'.
- Our AWESOME Co-ordinator Jaime Kourieh-Cottrill (www.bpevents.ca), who handled all the logistics for both workshops.
- Cinevate's Dennis Wood for flying down to help and answer everyone's questions re: Brevis35, Pegasus etc etc.
- Our incredible in-house team Jessica, Amina & Amish (Amish, you're one of us now!).
Not to be outdone by Allie wearing the steadicam last week, Vicky & Ricky seem to be having too much fun via 'the steadicam duel'.
Thank you everyone for attending!!!!

BTW, little known secret, Mike kicks butt at street fighter!
too bad I'm too busy:(
Thanx!
Jason, it was a pleasure having you in my group; it's all about the Steadicam face!
Paramon, Jeff & Amanker - perhaps one day we'll have the oppurtunity to learn as well as teach alongside one another.
Marcus - StillMotion is tentatively slated by Canon to tour across the major cities in the U.S. to teach a highly specialized one day workshop. More on that coming very soon.

Thanks again for letting me participate on the first day guys! I had a blast! I think you can see me briefly in one of the opening 5d stedicam shots ;)
My fav, fav, triple fav shot, has to be 00:47-00:50. I remember seeing the guys do the shot a few times, and wow, it looks so killer!
What is the logic of that
Is there more footage of/from that rig
S
*crosses fingers*
Missing everyone from the workshop. Good times man..good times.
-Randy
Sam, the weight cage on the 5D is exactly what you said it is; forcing more weight on the entire unit. By doing so, you create a heavier/more stable rig overall.
The weight of the 5D itself makes it ideal for a Steadicam Merlin, but with the Cinevate Cage you can now fly it effectively on a Steadicam Pilot/Flyer Le.

ha
I want to be part of your team!!!
