no Porto, mesmo no centro junto a Cedofeita; é um lugar antigo, velho, um bocadinho podre até, mas definitivamente bonito

Is that made with a steadycam ? That's really really beautiful ! The shot at 1:01 is superb !
  • ricfortune 1 year ago
    Thank you!
It's a sort of steady - I changed a small tripod and attached some weights to stabilize.

Did you create it with your own technic or did you find it somewhere because I found some website who proposed a way to do one but it's hard to see the results ?
  • ricfortune 1 year ago
I did read some things online, but it was basically a trial/error process until I got a acceptable result. These shots here are ok, but I only got them between the 5th and 10th tries! This is a guess, but I work as a news-cameraman; I'm guessing that the habit of stabilizing heavy cameras helps in something like this, but I don't know. Hare you refering to this?: cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/steadycam/

Ohh, ok ! And yeah, I'm totally referring to that website and this one bignoz.com/# but which is in french.
And thanks for your answer !

I used a Sony HC1; did some post on the colors - I really love to manipulate colors. Thank you!
