An excerpt from Dark Ways, directed by William Q. Hartin. I was the director of photography on this production, and we shot on the Red One. The director had in mind the great horror films of the 1970s, like The Shining, and those are what we looked to for stylistic inspiration. In this scene, Nell has been left alone in the house, and things are starting to go bad.
