Pandalmania - a riot of colour

Durga Puja is an annual festival to celebrate the Goddess Durga. This multi media work takes you from the beginning of the festival when the images of Durga are crafted for months.

Follow the images of Durga to local neighbourhoods and houses. Families and friends alike spend days and nights strolling around and enjoying the increasingly elaborate pandals.

The festival ends with the clay and straw images being returned to the Hooghly River.
