Poetry Pulpit was a friendly little spoken word open mic hosted by Me and Liz Greenfield on the second Sunday of every month at the Leftbank in Bristol between 2011 and 2013. Everyone was welcome to say a poem out loud. It was a night of performance poetry and music we love peppered with lyrical displays of unmeasurable insobriety. I miss it very much. This is from the early days, its a poem about fetishizing utility workers. Come on, we've all done it.
