    Why did you shoot at 60i? The whole point of this camera is to shoot progressive.

    I would have to disagree that the point of this camera is to shoot progressive. While I much prefer the look 24p and 30p, if the "point" of this camera was progressive, 1080i wouldn't have been included.

    And some people do like the look of 1080i

    agreed!!! I had to shoot in HG 1080/60i because right now I only have a class 2 sdhc card. I just ordered a class 6 off newegg, so i'll be shooting progressive as soon as that comes in the mail.

    Hey Mark, is that your new cam? Looks quite good. My jury is still out on 24p vs. 60i. But I'd love to see some good side by side examples if anyone has some. Cool ants, btw.

    To each his own. This video was shot it 60i, but it was kinda jittery for some reason. I'm trying to figure out some better compression settings to upload HD to the internet.

    If you can see the interlace lines then that's reason enough to say you should have shot it in 24p.
