We move the goats in solar electric fences around the mountain. Three fence lengths tend to last for us about 3 days with our 14 does/doelings. We move them into their permanent pasture at night though - for shelter from weather as well as more secure fencing from coyotes. My favorite part of the day and of chores in general though, is that we take them on a walk en route from day pasture to night pasture. This video is that walk. Last week, when for once, in this very rainy year, it wasn't too wet and the camera came along.
AND. I apologize for no sound. This video took me, on my super duper extremely archaic vermont dsl line that was uncovered from the ditch and naked during irene, and now the internet is even slower than before, internet - ONE WEEK TO UPLOAD. That is right. To upload a one minute film, it took one week. Or many days where ultimately I had to use the internet for something else and had to cancel the upload. That is my rant.
