This Docudrama is simply an expression. I entered the Johnson City, TN Occupy General Assembly with neutral disposition. What I saw was first, fellow Humans. Secondly, I saw fellow Citizens of the United States of America : Each with their own thoughts, questions, feelings and beliefs, all expressing their freedom of thought and speech.
Occu-servation. An Observation Expression of they Occupy movement. Each 'expression' can have double, triple or more meanings, depending on that individual's viewpoints and perspectives. This video is a collection of 'Expressions" from October 15, 2011.
I have my thoughts, but will leave them quiet and simply let this Expression of Observation speak its own varied interpretation to anyone that chooses to see and hear it.
Thank you to the Citizens that allowed me intimate access to their Occupy Johnson City General Assembly meeting.
Videos like this I start with no preplanned thought or agenda. As I experience the moment of footage, I attempt to enter into the spirit of the surroundings.
As editing begins, it begins to unfold fresh and on its own. Musical ideas appear with the unfolding. Until it is done, I do not view what came forth.
Thus, after tweaks, I too watch it and ponder my own thoughts or interpretations.
You, the Viewer and Listener, I invite to do likewise.
May this Expression be of value to each of you in your personal observations, learnings, interpretations and understanding of the Occupy Movement - The Days of Rage.
[Johnson City, TN is a average mid-sized city. I came here to experience how the Occupy Movement is expressing itself in smaller cities. Johnson City is also known as 'Little Chicago' which I find quite interesting.
