A recreation of one of the last long distance canal runs which follows a similar route and timing to the professional boatman (and women).

Setting off from Braunston, Northamptonshire on Saturday Morning at 9am, the punishing schedule "getting the boats ahead" up to the Coventry coalfields (the recreation goes to Atherstone to "load up"), and then back to London and Kearley's and Tonges jam factory in Southall.

Part 1 follows the boats from Braunston to Grove Lock, near Leighton Buzzard.
