Aurora is looking at different soils to use in order to plant a seed. Why do we plant seeds in soil? Why don't we plant them on rocks, wouldn't that be silly?

In Luke 8:5-8, Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower. What does Jesus have to say about soil and planting seeds?

When you finish the video, take a trip outside and try planting some seeds on some rock and some in the soil. Take care of your seeds then come back to see how they grow. I know it sounds silly, but that's the point!
