Nikibasika means “it is possible.” Fifty-one very special children have found a home at Nikibasika in Kasese, Uganda. A group of volunteers in Canada have been working with these children for over 3 years to ensure their basic needs are met and they are all set up to successfully complete school and pursue whatever post secondary dreams they have. In November 2008 a team of Canadians visited Nikibasika, spent time at their home, took them on a very rare field trip to a pool and spent time getting to know each of the wonderful children. We would like to introduce you to them now.
