Were you using an External Mic? I got some vids at sxsw but the sound quality is poor.

No, all of these were shot with the internal microphone. It also helps that the sound guy at Saxon Pub doesn't believe in the rampant "crank it to 11" that typically goes around....

I do want to buy an external shotgun microphone... The Rode Stereo VideoMic - rodemic.com/microphone.php?product=StereoVideoMic is what I'm looking at.
