On October 20, 2011 Michael Collopy presented the keynote address of the evening for the Peacemakers' Awards 2011, hosted by the Mediation Center of San Joaquin. From photographing Mother Teresa's work in Calcutta to Mikhail Gorbachev's Nobel Peace summit in Italy, Michael Collopy is an inspirational photographer known for his remarkable photography. Michael spoke of his impressions of the remarkable "Architects of Peace" that he has known over the years. Especially poignant were his memories of Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, the Dalai Lama and Bishop Desmond Tutu.
