My first attempt at a high-res timelapse of the city at night.
Shot with my D200 tethered using CCP. Exposures are 13s each, shot 15s apart.
I love the color I got by dialing the temp down all the way to 2000K. You really get to see the purples and greens. I wanted to keep the exposure dark and contrasted, even though it meant sacrificing the Boston skyline in the background.
I think I may have dragged the exposure much too long. The long streaks of lights are a cool effect, but you don't get the "stop and wait" effect of the stop lights that way.
I'm just beginning to experiment with timelapse, so hopefully I will improve. Until then!
