This year's opening workshop consisted of the design for a shelter/observatory in Serra da Estrela.
The students were invited to engage on a field trip to Vale do Rossim natural park where they were to select a location for the implementation of their proposals.
The work groups were encouraged to explore on concepts of ephemeralaty, landscape integration and the limits of habitability.
