Film marked with a distinction. Filmed in Portugal during May/June 2011. A voyage by the Mondego river´s wildlife from the mountains to the sea.

Synopsis
A river acclaimed by poets and songwriters, closely entwined in the History of Portugal. As its waters merge with the sea, a small stream, hidden in the high mountains of Serra da Estrela, continues to ensure the Mondego breathes life into its great variety of habitats and wildlife.

    Awesome there's a university program like this! EDIT: Watched it now in full. Really felt like I was watching a BBC program with the way the special bird was presented with a touch of sound and the overall quality of the voice-over. If you don't mind telling, I'd be curious about the makeup of your team, how did you do underwater (and equipment in general) and how much was the budget. I'm trying to finish my thesis as well with a documentary from Sao Tomé so would be great to compare notes.
