"one day two style can work together, why not they don't connect...we can be connected"
  • Billy Batson 3 months ago
They don't connect because people are made to be d*cks by default these days?

Most graffiti these days is just squiggly lines without any sense of direction or content (even though that kind of reflects what state our society is in).

Sadly that connection would never happen. There's a huge difference between "Taggers" and "Piecers". Taggers are the fucking hoodrats who scrawl their inane bullshit onto anything without any artistic merit or respect. Piecers are the ones who respect art and their space and do the giant colorful pieces you do see.

Taggers for years have been the ones who constantly destroy these beautiful artworks for the sake of displaying their idiotic crew/gang names. These murals are the reason why LA is an art landmark and not because of your hood shit. The LA Four were the original gangsta's of the mural art scene in East LA and I was thankful to have grown up around their works and inspiration.

u cant blame taggers, its the root of graffiti as itself, but there will be still stupid people who dont respect others work.. i think this topic deserves more then 6min, but i consider it as an tipping point for change..its sad that those wonderfull murals r gone

it is sad that they can not cohexistir both ... because both the mural and graffiti art are expressions of popular ... great work of the painter Loza, beautiful murals
