ASCENSION OF THE BLUES is a new musical created by Jimmy Dillon. The show presents a musical theater experience, showcasing America's greatest music as it's never been seen or heard before. From the birth of the blues in the plantation fields of Mississippi to the glittering arenas of modern rock and roll—it's all here—presented by a multi-talented cast of singers, dancers, and musicians, with one of the hottest bands musical theater has ever heard. More than half of the show's 30 songs are originals written for the show by creator Dillon, and his musical director Ozzie Ahlers.
