Also the alien moves like you were using motion capture...did you?
I used Softimage and Lightwave as far as CG goes.
and no, there is no motion capture, I animated the alien by hand. (mouse and keyboard:)

Think I've seen that above doorway shot before though ;)
As for the collector/visitor..those floating_tentacles is nice lil'detail...have u imagined that those are separate limbs or are they floating (almoust in zero-G state) by themselfs as some form of ultra-light sensors...Hmm i wonder =D
