Philippine Cuckoo-dove (Macropygia tenuirostris)
The first lifer that I documented on the morning of February 07, 2009. This was taken on the hills of Antipolo City, Metro Manila.
There were actually five of these Philippine endemic doves that came to feed. Captured in this video are some visitors feeding on the same tree, like the Black-naped Oreole (Oriolus chinensis), and the Magpie Robin (Copsychus saularis).
We had to travel very early to arrive at the site before the crack of dawn to catch these birds while feeding.
