Amazing camara work, this looks like it was shot on a red, is the lens L series f/2.8?
  • Glad it looks like it was shot on a RED because it definitely wasn't! Evidently excellent camera work and grading go a long way. And yes, it was the f/2.8L

Ext.Recorder? ND Filter and Polarizer filter? Sorry if I'm asking many questions, but I'm thinking of getting this camera.
  • No external recorder - 24mbit AVCHD does a pretty good job. Right now we don't have a matte box with drop-in filters; yet. Lack of built-in ND is a major PITA on this camera. So we're using a cheap Cameron Vari-ND screw-on filter for the 24-70L, which works okay. Can't stack that on top of a polarizer unfortunately.

Fantastic! How did you do the titles? Was that done in after effects? If so, do you know of any tutorials that explain how to do that?
  • Titles were done in After Effects, as well as the RGB split glitch effect. Workflow was editing in FCP, grade in Color, then send to AE via XML for finishing and effects. Used the Nodes plugin by Yanobox - just got the user guide for it and figured out how to make it move like I wanted it to.
