This stop motion represents initial tests to illustrate the art of swift, unrestrained, free-spirited making. My inspiration tap involved an audit of photographs of previous MoMA Teen Art Classes which demonstrated intuitive and experiment driven processes—in tandem with laughing, screaming and dancing. For me, making is rarely a tidy experience…My personal motto remains: whenever possible, all projects should include yarn, dirt or raw meat.
