I originally created this back in 2009 during Senior year of high school for the people who hosted the annual March for Respect every year in Downtown Dallas (I later learned they are the Developmental Disabilities Network of North Texas). At the time I didn't know how to give it to them so I gave it to my mom who worked for the Autism Treatment Center at the time. I don't think it ever made it through.
I hope this video helps create awareness of this event for those who reside in North Texas. It is a fun event and there is a great sense of community and doing something greater than yourself. People with developmental disabilities are wonderful human beings...it is a great thing to march and honor them.
You should visit marchforrespect.org/ if you are interested.
