7 Feb 2009 : Succesful static test of XLR2 hybrid rocket booster.
Peter's log:
A few hours ago the XLR-2 went through its sixth and last static test. We have had problems with suppressing combustion ociliation until now, but this test was a resounding success.
Modifications to the injector design have dampened the vibrations out well below desired levels and we are now headed strait for a Marts 8 full size static test of the HATV fight vehicle.
