Fall River High School senior Mariah Shannon decided her senior project would be to honor Sophia Kammerer, the nearly 5-month-old daughter of Jeremy and Natalie Kammerer and granddaughter of Don and Lani Martin, who needed a heart transplant and received one at Stanford. Mariah's project Hope Floats included releasing pink balloons during halftime at the Fall River vs. Modoc varsity football game Oct. 28, 2011.
