    This is cool, I like the idea very much. I really love using perlin noise and accumulation/feedback type of stuff as well... I think your choice of color is nice. There are many routes that you could take with this idea that would look appealing. Using volume peaks to control the draw speed would probably look snazzy. It is cool as is though.
