The rolling shutter in video mode is joke without a tripod but it's lots of fun to use. I would not recommend buying it just for the video feature but everything else seems good. It also doesn't do interval shooting so I'm getting an intervalometer soon.
I'm interested in the live video preview mode for stills. I think this would be a dream come true for shooting stop-motion animation. I'm wondering how accurate the preview is vs the still captures? I wonder how they get around the shutter, is the video captured via the lens?
ooohh so thpectacular. oh my goodneth. thith ith jutht, thoooooh good. the world is just soo beautiful and simple. life is simple. i love it. how charming. i think, now, i'll go to a local coffee shop, throw on a nice scarf made from recyclable materials and some moccasins, get to the coffee shop, open my mac laptop, get a chai tea, adjust my thick brimmed glasses, listen to some indie music, and if anyone hears it besides me i will kill them because they could find out who it's by and that would NOT BE GOOD because they are MY undiscovered indie band, DAMN IT. good filming
Very cool. I like the occasional inclusion of powercom infrastructure in your videos. Reminds me of drives years ago out to the Quanicassee area, seeing the power lines wave in the wind.
I walk in the woods most every day. Most of the time I watch my feet (you have to on rough ground). Same route; every stretch familiar, but the exquisite detail here - marvelous. And so true to walking! And the music: the walker is young!
Wow Charlie, this is great. I particularly like the tree and following the branches. Can you say a word about how you edited it? I really like the stop motion feel, did you shoot video and take out frames, or just shoot lots of stills and string them together?
The composition of your shots and your editing never cease to amaze me! Excellent job.
Especially the shoot with the electricitypole, it's just brilliant.
Too I must say that the music moves with the pictures, perfectly, eventhough I'm not a big fan of Lazyboy ;)
best part: filming your steps, downward...awesome!
Is this video from the D90 or animated stills (or both)?
Either way it looks great...nice editing.
Thanks
