Sport for Jove Theatre and The Hills Shire Council are proud to present for its third year the return of The Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park, with a repertory season of Shakespeare’s greatest lessons in how not to hold a dinner party - The Taming of the Shrew & Macbeth!

The “devilish” Macbeths and the all-consuming Kate and
Petruchio are Shakespeare’s most dangerous and awe-inspiring married couples. Entirely defined by their bond with each other they are models of disharmony, while also representing as real a vision of love as the stage could ever hope to reveal.

Featuring a superb ensemble cast of Sydney’s finest emerging and established stage actors including Danielle King and James Lugton as Shrew’s famous warring lovers and Damien Ryan with Logie Award winner Amy Mathews as the regicidal Macbeths.

Staged at the historic Bella Vista Farm, these premiere
productions from celebrated director Damien Ryan will move their audiences through each stunning aspect of this treasured property.

Be sure to bring a picnic and join us this Christmas under the stars for these thrilling promenade productions!
