1. "Katie's Tea" Experimental Video
This video is an experimental effort between me and my good friend Diego Fernandes with the collaboration of our friend Annelise.
A little story over this: we are experimenting with light art for nearly a year and back then, we were making some long-exposure photographs using the reflections on other camera lens, which produced some incredible results. Then, the idea came: why not try to make a video using the very same structure? At first we were just fascinated by the random results it produced and after a couple of silent videos, we decided to pick Camille's song "Katie's Tea" for a try.
We played the song on a cellphone and freely tried to follow the beat. Although spontaneous, it came out amazing.
Maybe it wouldn't be this curious if we spent too much time rehearsing. It was really natural and even interrupted by an SMS during the whole process. It's all here, without any video editing. I just synched the album version of the song over the echoed low-tech one that was recorded by my camera.
Hope you guys enjoy!
