Orbita v0.1

3D knots generating sound from the structure of the knot, as it draws itself and relaxes according to mathematical programming by Rob Scharein using his own software KnotPlot. This is an ongoing project. Rob and I will be doing a live improvisation performance in anaglyph 3D using this particular visio-sonic development within KnotPlot as well as an earlier iteration of KnotPlot called 'KPShadows' which was used in Oct 2010 for a live performance of 'Water to Bone' in collaboration with vocalist Viviane Houle.

The new performance's working title is 'Orbita' and is happening in Vancouver on Dec 15 2011. Jamie will be using her new wireless performance instrument called I.T. to allow gestural control of many of the knot parameters and performing alongside Rob Scharein.
