Snow Session 09
It's not often we get snow over here so I met up with Shaggy for a bit of a boarding session. There wasn't much of a gradient on the golf course we were on but there was still enough speed for a small kicker.
I was using a bit of an experimental camera set-up on this one, my wee Canon HV20 HDV camera bolted onto my 35mm lens adaptor. I only had 5 min to rig this up so there is quite a bad vignette and it was quite hard to get shots as the view-finder was showing everything upside down. Next time out with the HV20 I'll spend a bit of time and get it right

NCFX 10 months agoUmh, good footage. But I think that when shooting snow scenes, picture tend to be somewhat dark, dull. Did you set manual iris? What do you think are the best HV20 settings when shooting in snow locations? -

9 months ago Auto iris and shooting with 120 shutter speed. I haven't really used the HV20 that much so can't really advise.
