The sociologist Ulrich Beck has described the sociological change from a wealth production towards a risk production with the term Risk society in his book written in 1986. Risk society examines the prospects of young people from the city of Schwerin, northern part of Germany. Youngsters who rarely or never reach the public stage of politics, have the chance to express their ideas.
