As half of Esplendor Geométrico, Arturo Lanz (alongside partner Saverio Evangelista) has concocted a bleak world unto his own since the dawn of the early 80s. His is a sound of violence, often satirizing the fascist movements in world history with a combination of cold-wave drum machines, found dialogue, and challenging industrial soundscapes. In the process, the EG crew kick-started the EBM and industrial movement in Spain – and their reverberations can still be felt the world over.
