Short film made during the pauses of a two days' photo assignment in Northern Portugal. All footage captured with a Canon 5D mkii camera ( zero processing, straight out of the CF ), edited with Final Cut. Lens used: 16-35 f2.8, 35 f1.4, 50 f1.4, 135 f2. Most scenes shot hand-held, or with a standard photographic tripod.
Apart from being my first cinematic experience with a photographic camera, this is also an experimental movie. I'm currently fighting with Final Cut encoder to get a perfect export with no 'jumps' and other artifacts... the "full quality" (2.4Giga) export is perfectly smooth, can't figure out why this one is not... i'll update this video when things get neat. I definitely need to dig into FCP and movie making... Meanwhile, i hope you enjoy the 10 minutes pre-release !
The complete budget to produce this movie was 20€ + meals. All the budget was spent on a train ticket.
