Five women spend a few days trapped in a beauty salon during a social revolt in the streets of La Paz. As the hours go by, their differences will turn the beauty salon into a battlefield of petty fights.

Battlefield is the first feature film of filmmaker Amancay Tapia. It was commercially released in Bolivia from January to March 2011 and in Spain in March 2012. It was also shown in London at Occupy LSX, The Bolivar Hall and Passing Clouds as well as several UK Universities, such as The University Of Bath and Goldsmiths College.
